New routine and new life

HOW WE'RE ALL DOING? I'm gonna be honest with you guys, this quarantine is starting to get to me on some days. Today is officially two weeks since I've been self-isolating and there are only so many things you can do inside of a flat. I probably never cleaned so much or organized my closet/ cupboards. My life is usually very fast-paced I rarely sit down that long, my job is very physical and sitting down like that does not ever happen. BUT let's stay positive because it's so easy to get trapped in this negative circle and let's appreciate this time and make it useful for ourselves.

I actually try to treat this period as a normal work week and trying not to sleep very long. So the latest I get up is 9am but usually, it's around 8am so I can have a bit of a lay-in, drink my coffee, fill in my gratitude journal and take a moment for myself before getting out from the bed.
Around 10am I usually go outside for a workout. I worked out 6x last week which I'm really proud of. Usually, when I go to work I do 3-4x workouts a week so I'm very pleased with myself. I really take this time to enjoy myself, and also doing a bit of meditation/yoga end of every session to get my mind in the right place.

Around 11:30 I come back, make some healthy breakfast. At the moment I'm really loving fruit salad with granola and yogurt. After that, I jump into the shower and do a bit of pampering. Around 13:00 I practice a bit on Spanish, who does not know yet I started a Spanish course in February, this has been a dream of mine for so long and I thought 2020 I will start.  Actually, this has been heaven-sent because it's so good that I can study while being in this quarantine. After that I usually try to read my book for half an hour and listen to some music at the same time, this really helps me to relax.

Around 15:00 I usually have some lunch, been loving homemade poke bowls recently. I really recommend it as it's a super quick and healthy option to have. I try to keep my diet healthy during these weeks but I'm no saint so defo treating myself to some sweets every day. When lunch is over I usually catch up on the news. I try not to read any of them until later because there is so much negativity that if I do it in the morning it will put me off for the rest of the day. Around 17-18 I sit down and listen to some podcasts also, been loving the adults coloring book, such a calming activity to do. After that, I watch a bit of TV and start cooking for dinner for me and my boyfriend as he usually finishes his work around 19:00. Then we sit down and catch up about our day and if I still have some energy I do my online course. My friend recommended me the one I'm currently doing, its called "Science of well-being and happiness" (Yale course) but I'm thinking to start studying a new skill so I will do some research this week and see what's available online. Maybe marketing, HR or something like that.
I still try to go to bed around 22-23 as I don't want to mess up my routine and keep myself on track.
I think to keep yourself healthy and sane try to have some kind of routine in place. Of course some days I just chill out but most of the days I really do follow this.  Good to do something for the body, soul, brain and then don't forget to have some fun as well.
Speak to you soon guys and stay safe kids!
